tonight's Show Tonight's program, Life Rattle's last program on CKLN, Guy Allen speaks of CKLN, community radio and Life Rattle's roots and origin; Virginia Ashberry speaks of her love for the writing and the writers that Life Rattle has had the honour of presenting for decades. The program features a story by Life Rattle Co-founder Arnie Achtman. Arnie Achtman Born in 1948, in Montreal, worked as a store clerk, a short-order cook, a dance studio caretaker, an independent performance artist, an actor and taught Expressive Writing at George Brown College and the University of Toronto. Arnie Achtman, who together with Guy Allen founded Life Rattle in 1988, died of Lung Cancer in March of 2005. Part Two of "Sub" is featured on Life Rattle Program No. 1218.
