tonight's Show Although tonight’s show, Life Rattle Number 1273, is a bit shorter than usual, our featured story, written and read by new Life Rattle writer Sebastian Franks, will make you glad that you tuned in. Sebastian Franks was born in Singapore in 1985. He is the youngest of three children born to an Iranian-Armenian mother and an English father. Sebastian and his family moved to Canada when he was seven years old. He studied history in Kingston and Toronto before deciding to work for the government as an education policy adviser. When not working for the man, Sebastian Franks spends his time drawing, writing and playing in rock bands. Sebastian’s writing, full of brisk dialogue and memorable metaphors, is absolutely engaging and entertaining. Tonight’s story, "Scrabble + Alcohol = Trouble," ostensibly about drinking, watching hockey and playing Scrabble, delivers great insight into the dynamics of a bond between two brothers, as one enters into a romantic relationship.
