Anna Piszczkiewicz is the daughter of Polish immigrant parents. She has grown up in Toronto where she questions, doubts and worries about her bilingual identity. When tossed amongst the buildings and characters of her parents hometowns she questions, doubts and worries some more. Soaking in the Remnants is a collection of autobiographical short stories of her struggle to find a sense of belonging in both Polish and Canadian.
