37 cent Massacre

From the foreword:

"I don't want the readers to read Massacre like a story, a fairytale. These are real people and this shit really happened - not a long time ago but recently, even lately.

This is what's happening right here. Right now in Toronto. In Toronto, not in some third world country where people can't afford food or shelter.

In Toronto, the richer (if not richest) city in Canada, young people - my friends and I - slept on hot air vents, had nothing to eat, lived in parks, died in back alleys."
